Three (3) DPL Members qualified for the ESPN Free Poker Challenge 3 finals on Wednesday, July 7, 2010. Steve Larry, Mike Patterson, and myself. Steve Larry won the week 7 qualifying tournament, good playing Steve. The winner of the challenge gets a paid entry into a qualifying tournament with hotel stay to HPT event in Gary, IN. UPDATE - Mike Patterson was eliminated with about 20-30 players remaining, Steve was eliminated when it was down to two tables. I went out in 4th place. This was back to back final tables for me in the ESPN challenges. Maybe next time!! |

Five (5) DPL Members were in attendance for the ESPN Free Poker Challenge 2 finals. John Barry, Mark Lambert, David Kates, Keith Watrous, and myself started the night will varying chip stacks. Keith and I were able to finish 8th and 6th, respectively at the final table. The is another poker challenge in the works and there may be trips to the Gary, IN HPT tournament. |

The K.C. Hall will be hosting a "Casino Night" on April 17, 2010. St. Teresa and the Knights of Columbus welcome you down for a fun night of gambling. The DPL add two more to the list of finalists to the ESPN 1050 Free Poker Challenge 2. David Kates and Mark Lambert were able to finish in the top 10% during the week 8 qualifier. This brings the total DPL finalists to 5, Phillip, John, Keith, David, and Mark. |

Gary Bean is made the journey to Downstream Casino Resort in Quapaw, OK for the Heartland Poker Tour Event. Gary did not fair all that well against the HPT competition. He was unable to qualify for the main event. |

The DPL now have three players in the Week 12 Final for the ESPN 1050 Free Poker Challenge 2. John and Phillip made it in via week 1, and week 2 gave 2009 DPL Champion an entry into the Week 12 Final after finishing 3rd in week 2. |

Keith, John, and myself met on December 7, 2009 for the 2010 Rules Meeting. We discussed new rules, membership process, and other various suggestions brought forth by DPL members. View the Rules and Bylaws page for what was decided on. |

DPL had five (5) members attempt to qualify in the November Heartland Poker Tour Main Event
at the Ameristar Casino in St. Charles, MO. Congrats to Phillip Barry and Gary Bean for qualifying. Keith Watrous, John Barry, and David Kates came up a bit short. Hope to see more DPL faces in upcoming HPT events. |
