Darrell and Gary Bean made the trip to St. Louis to partake in the World Series of Poker Circuit Events held at Harrah's.  Gary entered Event #2 and Darrell entered Event #4.  At the start of Event #2 there were 288 players, with the top 30 players making the cash.  As the tournament was progressing, Gary had built a decent stack of chips.  As the action came around to Gary he had a early raiser.  Gary looked down at and was ready to pick up some more chips, so Gary re-raised all-in. The other player decided to move his chips in and put himself at risk against the 2008 DPL Runner Up. When the cards were flipped Gary's opponent turned over .  After the flop , Gary's opponent had quads, Gary was crippled to $2,500 in chips with the blinds at $600 - $1,200. Gary hung in there and chipped back up after several double-ups.

Later on in the tournament, the action was again around to Gary with an early raiser.  Gary again looked down at and pushed all-in.  His opponent debated over it for a bit and moved all-in.  With Gary having more chips, he was not at risk to be eliminated, but would rather eliminate his opponent.  This time Gary was up against , yet another race.  When the flop hit , his opponent, again, flopped quads and Gary was starting to wonder about those A-K's.  Gary again was able to chip up and though he could not go on to win, he did make it past the bubble and finish in 23rd.  Gary is left wondering, the what if?  If he wins one of the two (2) races, what if?  Good play Gary.

Darrell drove down for Event #4.  At the start of Event #4 there were 253 players, with the top 28 players making the cash.  The first of two major hands that sent Darrell to the rail was when Darrell got his chips in with and was up against .  The second of the major hand Darrell got was when he had and flopped .  Darrell moved all-in and was up against the chip leader that had .  The turn brought a and the chip leader caught a on the river and Darrell was out before the bubble broke.
